Magnetic alignment needs a MagSafe iPhone or a magnet-equipped case — without one it still charges wirelessly, you just position the phone yourself. The watch pad is built for Apple Watch; other smartwatches with proprietary chargers won't sit on it. A mains adapter isn't included, so use one you already have.
